HERE'S MORE ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENCES...

“Working with Charlotte gave me the confidence to not only create a realistic plan to pursue an alternative career path but most importantly, to action it. The subtle way that she teased out my hopes and dreams and then held them up as a possible fabric that I might even wear one day, was remarkable. It is this very fact of her witnessing your aspirations and then echoing them back to you that makes the process of working together so life changing. She always says that it was not her that did the work, but it was me. The more prosaic truth is, it was a combination of both of us over the course of a year, during practical yet nurturing sessions. Charlotte gently steered the way and held me accountable to small steps and gestures, with the overall direction of travel clearly signposted by the parameters of an overall vision.

The transformation from a career in education that no longer felt fulfilling, to becoming self-employed was incremental. The attendant risks and fears that ensue when leaving a long-held career as a secondary school teacher, were abundantly clear. Financial risk was obviously a concern, but I think the bigger, less obvious risk was connected to the identity I had become wedded to in my career as a teacher. Over time I was able to uncover the truth about my own relationship with creativity and also long held attitudes that were no longer serving me and were blocking my path to a more fulfilling career.

Trusting in the process and inevitability of change is ongoing work and from time to time I still check in with Charlotte. My portfolio career as a garden designer and teacher and writer is dynamic and diverse and very far from unfulfilling. I am living proof that you can wear the fabric of your dreams. If you are thinking about life-coaching and making a change in your life, I wholeheartedly recommend getting in touch with Charlotte… today! - Rosie, Brighton

“Charlotte gave me lots of resources to help me manage a stressful work situation as well as for research for other career possibilities. I found our sessions particularly helpful for organising my thoughts and they also provided me with monthly accountability in terms of actions steps. Since working together, I have quit my corporate job and moved in with friends in the countryside to give myself some time to fully explore my interests.” - Caroline, UK

“Charlotte's help in conquering my demons and getting me into the right mindset for a new job has been invaluable. Her genius lies in asking probing questions, challenging my assumptions about myself and providing thorough and insightful feedback in her follow up. After just two sessions, I already felt far more confident and able to tackle the challenges ahead. The beauty of Charlotte’s coaching is that it was a common-sense and focused process. I loved her approach – she would send me issues and questions to look at ahead of our session, then at our sessions, she'd allow me to expand on my thoughts and cleverly let me think I'd arrived at various conclusions on my own. Soon after, I'd receive brilliantly insightful feedback on what we'd discussed, what I might think about for next time and readings that might interest me. I found huge value at every step.

As new challenges arise, I know I'll be calling on Charlotte's skills again – it has proved a great working relationship and fantastic to find someone whose input and insight I trust so entirely."  – Harriet, London

“I was feeling like I was stuck in a rut, not moving forwards while watching the lives of everyone else around me change, and a few health problems had left me feeling low. Despite being normally very happy to talk about almost anything, thinking and talking honestly about myself is much more of a challenge.  Charlotte was very encouraging and teased information out through various exercises. She helped me focus on my goals and where I want to be and helped me realise that I am, if not exactly where I want to be, actually very happy with my current situation.  We discussed what happiness meant to me, and being able to visualise what I want for myself and how to get it helped very much with my happiness and self-confidence. “ – Ellie, London

“I found that discussing my thoughts and ideas with Charlotte was a great way of turning random ideas into a carefully considered action plan, that helped me make effective decisions and prioritize things that needed attention first. I would definitely recommend coaching with Charlotte, as she managed to remain impartial but also really seemed to care about my progress and be interested in what I had to say.” – Lucy, Spain
